Spyderco's first cutlery product, the Tri-Angle Sharpmaker enables even the inexperienced to attain professional sharpening results with ease. The stones measure 7" in length and are formed in a unique triangular shape to hone both serrated and plain edges. Each stone incorporates a groove for sharpening pointed objects such as fish hooks and darts (see diagram). When the stones are placed in the keyed holes on the ABS injection-molded base and a simple slicing motion is used, the Sharpmaker provide s for effective angle control when sharpening knives. The stones can be set at 40 degrees, 30 degrees, and 12.5 degrees(scissors angle), or at 0 degrees (flat angle) to accommodate virtually any sharpening task. The medium and fine grit stones are included (4 stones) and also replacement hones may be purchased separately. This is a complete factory sealed kit ready to use (as pictured above). All parts store inside base, and the lid snaps on making a self contained unit.
