The original idea began as early as 1994, when Ohio native, Larry Legg, began his quest for a truly useful pocket sized tool. As the manager for an Ohio machine shop, specializing in precision parts, Larry's intent was to design a tool for personal use, as he never seemed to have the basic tools with him when needed. Following two years of night work in his garage, Larry's design was perfected. Unlike all previous multiple tools, his tool contained an integral locking system that would attach to any key ring, thereby eliminating the need for a belt holster. Larry had unknowingly developed a practical solution to an age old problem. Larry's patent was granted in 1996 and worldwide distribution began the same year. Larry continues to work on innovative ideas as head of Research and Development for his company. |
